Salonica, também conhecida como Tessalónica (português europeu) ou Tessalônica (português brasileiro) é a segunda maior cidade da Grécia e a principal cidade da região grega da Macedônia. Em 2011, a população da região metropolitana era de 1 104 460, dos quais 788 952 na cidade propriamente dita e 325 182 no município.
