Darwin es la capital y ciudad más poblada del Territorio del Norte, Australia. Situada junto al mar de Timor, se encuentra en la costa septentrional del país y cuenta con una población de 120 652 habitantes (2006), convirtiéndose así en la mayor ciudad del escasamente poblado Territorio del Norte pero en la menos poblada de todas las ciudades capitales australianas.
