Chengdu es una ciudad subprovincial y la capital de la provincia de Sichuan, situada en el suroeste de la República Popular China. Con una población de 20 937 757 habitantes según el censo de 2020, es la cuarta ciudad más poblada del país y la mayor de China que no posee rango administrativo de municipalidad directamente subordinada al Gobierno central.
