Macao, oficialmente Región Administrativa Especial de Macao de la República Popular China, es una Región administrativa especial y una ciudad de China. Se encuentra junto a la provincia de Cantón, a 70 km al suroeste de Hong Kong, en el lado meridional del delta del río de las Perlas, y a 145 km de la ciudad de Cantón.
