Guanajuato es una ciudad mexicana, capital del estado del mismo nombre y cabecera del municipio de Guanajuato. Está en el centro norte de México. De acuerdo con cifras del año 2020 su población asciende a los 72,237 habitantes, si se le considera solamente la cabecera municipal y capital estatal, sin contar las localidades del municipio conurbadas con la cabecera, o mismo el municipio como un todo.
