Poznan, también llamada tradicionalmente en español Posnania, es una de las más antiguas y grandes ciudades de Polonia (quinta por población absoluta y sexta por extensión geográfica), situada a orillas del río Varta. Tiene una población estimada, a mediados de 2021, de 530 464 habitantes.
