Ponta Delgada (Punta Delgada) es una de las capitales de las Azores, un archipiélago portugués en medio del Atlántico. Comparte la capitalidad con Horta y Angra do Heroísmo. El Municipio tiene una superficie de 231,9 km² y una población total de 67 287 habitantes (2021), subdivididos en 24 freguesias. Se convirtió en capital de las Azores en 1546.
