Chiang Mai, Chiengmai o Chiangma es la capital de la provincia homónima y ciudad más grande y principal centro cultural del norte de Tailandia, así como la segunda más grande de Tailandia. Está situada a unos 700 kilómetros al norte de Bangkok, entre las montañas más altas del país, y tiene una población de 1.2 millones (2023). Chiang Mai se ubica en la ribera del río Ping, el afluente más importante del Chao Phraya.
